About FoundationPoker

FoundationPoker is a free collection of interactive training tools for people who are new to Texas Hold'em. No account required, no paywalls — just drills you can open and start using immediately.

Poker has a steep learning curve. Most training resources either assume you already know the basics, or they charge a subscription fee before you've had a chance to decide if the game is even for you. FoundationPoker exists to fill that gap — a place where complete beginners can build a solid foundation without spending a dollar or sharing an email address.

Right now the site covers the fundamentals: hand rankings, board reading, table positions, preflop starting hand ranges, pot odds, and counting outs. There's also a glossary of common poker terms. Every topic is paired with an interactive drill so you can test yourself, not just read. The site is actively developed — more drills and content are in the pipeline.
